Viigo for the BlackBerry Storm

I have been trying out Viigo for the BlackBerry Storm for the past few days, and it is a pretty nice news/RSS reader app. You can have Viigo aggregate news, weather, sports, flights, entertainment, and a few other things right to your BlackBerry. You can configure Viigo to update your articles anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 day. Viigo has quite a few preinstalled news apps, but you can of course add your own feeds to it. One thing I really like is that it syncs up with my Google Reader account, so I do not have to add all of my feeds to it manually. Another really nice feature is that you can post articles to Twitter right from the app. Viigo even creates a tinyurl for you which makes sharing news super easy.
Another cool feature of Viigo, for travelers, is the Trip Itinerary. You can search for flights and get their status and keep it saved on your device. Very convenient if you travel frequently or want to track a flight without having to go to the Airline’s website. Also looks like they are planning on adding a Podcast catcher in the future as the selection is greyed out, but is definitely there.
It works very well on the Storm, images look nice and the scrolling is pretty smooth. Sometimes the text does not format right in some articles though, and it displays in one column. Not sure if it is a bug with the Storm version or all versions of Viigo. It is a very cool app and will keep you updated with pretty much anything right on your phone, and oh yeah it is FREE!!
