Yesterday we heard news that HTC sent a C&D letter to the developers of the “Beautiful Widget” app due to their widget looking a little too much like the HTC Sense UI widgets. Now we are seeing official HTC widgets popping up in the Android Market. Hmmmmmm Hopefully well see a few more in the future, for now there is a battery widget, tip calculator, today history, and a dice widget. I’m thinking HTC will release whole slew of widgets over the next few weeks. As of right now, these widgets are only available for Sense UI phones, hopefully they will open them up to none Sense UI phones soon. Hit this link to read more about each widget.
