Guru Inspection: AudioManager Pro for Android

One complaint I have with Android is the way the system handles audio. You basically have one volume setting for ringtones/text messages, and volume for media, alarm, voice are all handled independently within each app.

The developers at Smart Android Apps recognized this issue and created AudioManager Pro. This app is an on screen widget that allows you to control all aspects of your device’s sound. The widget comes in a small and a large size so you can choose how much space it takes up. A nice touch that has been recently added is the ability to skin the widget with 4 different themes. When you tap the widget, you are taken to a screen with sliders so that you can adjust the volume of alarms, music, alerts (notifications), ringer, system, and voice calls. A very nice touch is the option to create your own profiles and save them. Just to day the developers updated the look of the control screen and it looks great. This is a must have app for any Android user.
