Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY Official, Headed to Verizon & AT&T
Sony has finally taken the wraps off the Xperia PLAY, the first phone “PlayStation certified”. We highlighted many of it’s specs and features here, but now it is officially official. Sony has announced multiple versions of the PLAY, two of which are dead ringers for Verizon and AT&T.
“Rikko Sakaguchi, Executive Vice President and Chief Creation Officer at Sony Ericsson commented: “Today is a very proud moment for Sony Ericsson as we bring something truly revolutionary to the market. Living up to our vision of Communication Entertainment, Xperia PLAY will forever change the way people think about smartphones and mobile gaming.
XperiaTM PLAY will run on Gingerbread (version 2.3), the latest version of Google’s AndroidTM platform. The XperiaTMPLAY will also be the first PlayStation Certified device. This means it will have access to PlayStation® game content provided through the PlayStation® Suite initiative, currently under development by Sony Computer Entertainment and due to launch later this calendar year.”

Motorola Atrix Promo Video Shows Webtop’s Awesomeness

Amazon to Offer Motorola Atrix for $150, Samsung Infuse for $99
Amazon jumped the gun a little early last night and tossed up a page for the Motorola Atrix and the Samsung Infuse priced $150 and $99 with a two year contract. Full retail price for these guys will cost you $599 and $499 if you are not into commitments. Amazon tends to price phones a little more competitive than the carriers, so we’ll have to wait and see what these “4G” devices will cost when the AT&T releases them officially. As of now, Amazon has removed the page, and all is right with the world once again.
