Bracketron USB Power Dock Pro Flex Review

Bracketron USB Power Dock Pro Flex Review

Bracketron has been in the vehicle mount business for a long time. They make quality products that truly stand the test of time. I speak from first hand experience as I am still rocking my Bracketron Grip-It Windshield Mount I bought years ago. When I was contacted about their new Power Dock Pro Flex mount, I had to check it out. The Universal USB Power Dock Pro Flex (say that three times fast) plugs into your 12v charger in your car and has a USB plug that charges your smartphone. The universal mount can be adjusted to fit most normal sized devices, sorry Galaxy Note owners, and a neck that can be twisted around to suit your visibility needs. It’s a really good idea that excels in some areas but leaves a lot to be desired in others. Hit the jump to check out the full review.

Musubo Cases for iPhone Review

Musubo Cases for iPhone Review

Musubo has been nice enough to send us out some of their hottest iPhone cases available, to review for all you Guru heads. Let’s kick off this review with our personal favorite the Eden. This case is made up of a white/black shiny polycarbonate frame and a soft touch silicone insert for the back, that comes in green, orange, light blue, pink, black, yellow, purple or white.

At first glance the case is an eye catcher because of the bright colors and it being glossy. The iPhone clips in the case very tightly and is not very hard to clip down in. The glossy frame that wraps the sides can be slick to hold on to, but the soft silicone insert around back helps for some grip. The phone was a little challenging to get back out of the case, it is not a case you would want to take off every day. The frame around back wraps around at an angle and does make the case feel a little bulky, but would defiantly help with impact if you dropped your phone. The only negative view is, the coverage on the front and sides is minimal. If you are bad about dropping your phone I don’t know that I would recommend this case for that reason alone.

Another positive is, with the sides not being fully covered, you have no issues with access to the ports and buttons on the phone. This case really was a pleasure to use, and even though it is a little bulky it made the iPhone very comfortable to use. For $34.99 it is a very attractive and nice case, that can hold it’s own against some of the top name brand cases.

Next up is the Sneaker. The Sneaker was obviously inspired by the old school, never old, Converse All Star Shoe. This case is a tough rubber, bumper style case with a back insert. It slides over the phone very snug but, not so snug that it is hard to remove, and not as loose as silicone cases. This case provides excellent coverage wrapped around the front, sides and back. No need to worry if you drop your phone in this case. It does leave the screen open, but coverage is so that it shouldn’t get hit.

We got the black and white versions but other colors are available. There is an option for a white bumper and green, brown, red, yellow, pink, light blue, lime green and purple, inserts. You will either love the looks or hate the looks of this case. Either way, it is no doubt a conversation piece and gives you great coverage with easy on/off access for $34.99.

Lastly we have the Sexy. This was our least favorite of the 3 cases and not because of the appearance. It is no doubt a sexy looking case but it is basically your everyday, standard wrap around, soft silicone case. They do however provide great drop protection. We have not been a fan of this style case, mainly because they come off too easy and allow dust to get under the case. Then, possibly rub scratches on your phone. This isn’t an assumption either, we have actually had this happen.

The good thing about this case is the fact that it is available in several different colors, light blue, blue, black, green, magenta, red, rose pink, white, and purple. The case is cheaper than the others at $24.99 and if you are in the market for a silicone case, this should be one of your top choices because it does live up to it’s name, Sexy.

One last thing we really thought was cool about the Musubo cases, they all come with adjustable stands. The stands are flat like a credit card and the bend to allow for different viewing angles to prop your phone up. They are quite good if you want to set your phone up for an alarm clock, or use it to watch movies. It would sway me to actually buy these cases over another.

So there you have it, Musubo has some very cool cases and there are several more options to choose from on their site. They are very affordable and their quality standard is high. So go ahead and get on over to Musubo.com and pick you one out for yourself.

Limited Luxury iPhone Case Review

Limited Luxury iPhone Case Review

If you’re one of the many iPhone users out there who want protection for their phone, but hate how many cases sacrifice aesthetics for protection, then these cases from Limited Luxury might be what you’re looking for. Limited Luxury has recently entered the global market, bringing their high quality mobile phone and tablet cases to the masses.

The first thing that you’ll notice with these cases is that that the designs are aesthetically pleasing. There are numerous designs offered by Limited Luxury to please virtually everyone. The cases aren’t bulky and are very light weight.

The cases are easy to put on, with the simple two part slide-on design. The case will provide you with moderate protection in case of accidental drops, along with providing a great grip to help prevent drops from happening. The one aspect I wasn’t to big of a fan of was that the case didn’t have a “tight” fit, meaning that the iPhone shifts very little distance in the actual case (but nowhere near to the point where it causes the case to come apart). Overall, these feel of these cases were suggest that the materials used are much higher than others I’ve used in the past (especially those you get from the mall).

There are many interesting options available online. I suggest making Limited Luxury Cases one of your top priorities when it comes to iPhone protection. You get great protection, beautiful designs, and the knowledge that you’re using a very quality product at an affordable price.
