HTC Thunderbolt Now Launching February 28th?

HTC Thunderbolt Now Launching February 28th?

The loch ness monster, big foot, Vic’s girlfriend, and the HTC Thunderbolt launch date are things we have yet to have concrete proof of. Now we are hearing that the date has slipped yet again to February 28th. Are we sure this phone is even real?

HTC Flagship Devices Spotted in Wild

HTC Flagship Devices Spotted in Wild

This guy was spotted in the Taipei metro system by a very observant tipster. The shots are blurry, but you can definitely make out the front facing camera and capacitive touch buttons on the bottom. PocketNow had a leak of some renders, and this guys looks spot on to those leaks.

This second leaked HTC device was posted in Chinese user forum and is sporting a “buttonless” design and Verizon logo. Again, these images look spot on to the PocketNow render leaks.

We’ll have to wait until MWC gets closer to get more details, but once the leaks start, it’s hard to stop! So stay tuned!

EVO Having Wi-Fi Issues?

EVO Having Wi-Fi Issues?

We’ve been reading accross the web today that the EVO is having serious issues with WiFi…seems the signal strength is very subpar. Hope is this is a software issue and not just a crappy hardware issue. Maybe it performs better on 802.11n? Let us know what you’re experience has been.

Angry Guru Hands On: HTC EVO

Angry Guru Hands On: HTC EVO

First things first it is big. Like really big. I feel that it’s not too big, but I can see a lot of people being turned off by that. The screen while huge isn’t nearly as impressive as the HTC Incredible. The obvious new feature is the forward facing camera. We all know it does video chat using Qik, but it also allows you to take pictures using the front camera. This is nice for doing updates to profile pictures for Facebook and Twitter, something that requires awkward trial and error on other handsets. Getting Sprint’s other software features add to the total value of the device. If you’re down with Sprint then this is an great phone.

The store I went to today sold out in 15mins. 6 phones sold with 7 being held with deposit.
