RoadMice Mercedes SL550 Review
Wow. When I first caught wind of this from CES I was totally skeptical of any sort of funcnality out of device meant to look like a car. I mean the simple notion that someone would use a car as their mouse every day seemed laughable. When my review unit arrived however I was instantly entraled with the detail of the box! This mouse looked nothing like a mouse. It looked like a 1/64th scale diecast car. I suddenly was feeling like a 12 year old boy ready to play with a new toy.

Power Skin for HTC Sensation Review
I love my Android phones, I really do. One thing they seem to always struggle with is battery life. There are plenty of “tricks” to help like turning down brightness, turning off GPS, etc. However, I am one who does not like to sacrifice my experience to try and save a few battery percentages. With that said there is no replacement for a larger battery, and that exactly what the Power Skin gives you. According to the folks over at Power Skin, this silicon case/battery hybrid will double your device’s battery life. Let’s see if that holds true in this Guru Inspection.

Guru Inspection: Spiderpodium Smartphone Holder and Dock, Loveable Insect
I don’t know about you guys, but I always use my phone as an alarm clock/desktop stand. The problem is that not all manufactures make a nice easy to use dock for every phone. Even when they do, most docks run you $50+ for something pretty basic. This is where the Spiderpodium crawls into the scene. This universal contraption is as versatile as it is useful and has spun it’s web around many of my devices and my heart.

ifrogz SoftGloss iPad Sleeve Review
There a lot of iPad cases on the market today and one of the companies that has some top notch cases is ifrogz. We have gotten the chance to put the SoftGloss iPad Sleeve from them to the test for the last 2 weeks, and for a slip-on style case this one is a winner. ifrogz says this case is the same (TPU) Plastic as the 80′s Jelly Shoes that were popular with the ladies. At first glance once this case is installed, you will notice the fit is nice and snug. It is not one of those cases that are to hard to get on or very hard to take off, it’s just right.
Skullcandy 50/50 Earbuds Review
So here we are with another pair of quality Skullcandy earphones. I definitely have pro’s and con’s about these but the cons’s are out weighed by far. These retail for $49.95 on skullcandy.com.
The complete construction of the earphones are just fantastic. It has a 1.3 meter braided nylon cord which feels very strong and has a non-grip feel. Its also has a gold plated TRRS connector (audio/control jack) with includes not only audio but mic capabilities as well. You wont typically find gold plated unless the manufacture intentions were to make a better more quality sounding product. It does have a volume up and down control as well as mic input on the opposite side about three quarters of the way up the cord.
Guru Inspection: Exolife iPhone 4 Rechargeable Battery Case Review
This is where the Exolife iPhone 4 Rechargeable Battery Case from Exogear makes itself known as the “Johnny on the spot” of charging solutions. The Exolife is always with you and your phone because it doubles as a protective case. This ensures that you will never be without your phone due to battery drain. In our testing, we found that the Exolife’s 1500mAh battery adds anywhere from 2-3 times the battery life to your iPhone 4, (which has a 1420mAh battery).
Guru Inspection: iPhone 4 Ballistic Case Review
The Ballistic case for the iPhone 4 is a four layer case designed to keep your iPhone 4 safe from all types of damage, wear and tear. While it adds a good amount of bulk, it succeeds in keeping your phone safe and sound. The case itself has a built in clear screen protector to keep your screen scratch free. The inside of the plastic case is coated in a soft cushiony material to keep the back of your phone from getting scratched by the case itself (remember the in case problems with the 3G/3Gs). The front and the back pieces snap together to cover the phone all around, followed by a rubber skin that encompasses the entire case. The rubber skin also has “lid” coverings for your headset port, silent button, and charging port. I wouldn’t go as far as saying its water proof, but it will definitely help in a spill situation (Geoff and Beer Pong). The combination of the layers gives the iPhone a great amount of shock resistance and damage protection. Not to mention you also get a plastic holster to carry that beast in.
Guru Inspection: GelaSkins

Guru Inspection: Budsock
I think we’ve all been in a position where we’ve pulled out our headphones from whatever darkness we left them in only to find a rats nest of wire. Sure you can spend a couple of seconds pulling them apart and go on with life. It’s often thought of as one of those ‘things’ you just have to deal with. Well not any more.
Guru Inspection: Pineapple Electronics Rumble K and Rumble KW
Pineapple Electronics Rumble K and Rumble KW ‘earwoofers’ offer a unique listing experience via a technology called ‘bone conduction.’ These headphones provide you a 4-D listening experience where you actually feel the beat. This not only gives you a new listening experience it also allows you to protect your hearing in the long run by bypassing your ear drum.
Guru Inspection: Ankit Noise Isolating Earphones w/G-Bass
If you’re looking for something to set yourself apart from the pack in the headphone market you’ll go mad trying. At CES this year we saw a ton of different companies all trying to trick out the crappy ass earbuds that Apple has made so famous. We all know that the sound quality from these devices is lacking. Ankit tackles both issues head on.
