Steve Jobs’ Biography Will be Epic!
The Associated Press got their hands on a copy of “Steve Jobs”, a biography by Walter Isaacson set to release Monday. Jobs is a famously private individual and was often polarized by the media and fans, this biography will be a look into the mind of Steve Jobs through his personal and professional life. If these few quotes are a taste of what is to come, this book is going to be extremely interesting.
“I will spend my last dying breath if I need to, and I will spend every penny of Apple’s $40 billion in the bank, to right this wrong,” Jobs said. “I’m going to destroy Android, because it’s a stolen product. I’m willing to go thermonuclear war on this.”
“I don’t want your money. If you offer me $5 billion, I won’t want it. I’ve got plenty of money. I want you to stop using our ideas in Android, that’s all I want.”
“Hewlett and Packard built a great company, and they thought they had left it in good hands,” Jobs told Isaacson. “But now it’s being dismembered and destroyed.”

Editorial: The Lack of Weapon Balance in Gears of War 3
On more than one occasion, I have found myself cursing at the Gears of War 3 multiplayer after being killed by a Gnasher shotgun. I was 100% convinced that the weapons were imbalanced and recently, a Senior Designer for Gears of War 3, Lee Perry, offered his opinions on weapon balancing issues in the game.
Lee states plainly that, in his opinion (which seems relevant and informed), the Gnasher is most associated with winning and that the Gnasher is the most powerful weapon in the game. This, frankly, makes me really angry.
Gears of War 2, when it worked, was all about getting “2-pieced” (sprint or roll up to an enemy, melee, then blow them enemy away with the Gnasher). Gears 2 was a game that made it virtually impossible to use any weapon but the Gnasher. According to a video on eurogamer.com, Gnasher kills were 10 to 1 compared to other weapons in Gears 2. The experience was repetitive and no fun at all.
