Samsung Announces the Galaxy S II

The Galaxy S line is one of the most popular battalions in the Android army, and Samsung has just announced a sequel. The Galaxy S II raises the bar with a 4.3″ 800 x 480 Super AMOLED plus screen, dual core 1GZ Samsung processor, 1GB of RAM, 8 megapixel camera, 2 megapixel front facing camera, and it all runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) with Touchwiz 4.0. Hopefully Samsung will be on the ball with updates with it’s second Galaxy S phone, as there are users still stuck on Android 2.1 with the original gangster.
