Steve Jobs Wanted Apple to Own it’s Own Wireless Network
Steve was on his way to having Apple own soo many things in the wireless and mobile industry. One thing that he did not get fulfilled was a wireless network. Apparently, Steve Jobs was trying to find a way for Apple to have it’s own spectrum using WiFi but gave up on the idea in 2007.
We all know how much Steve loved to have control over everything with their products, but probably stopped because the animal he was trying to build in 2007 was way to big. Of course he gave into AT&T and exclusivity but, it makes one wonder what the future would be with Steve still in charge. Who knows maybe he still has the ground work laid out.
