RIM Announces “Playbook” a Blackberry Tablet

Today RIM announced the Blackberry Playbook, their weapon in the tablet war quickly brewing. The OS borrows heavily from webOS and even sports “card view”. The tablet will support Flash and HTML 5 web standards, have a video calling, and a 7in multitouch screen. Below is a preview video and full specs.

So what we have here would appear to be a touch based OS, right? This basically sums up the idea the hybrid blackberry. Touchscreen bolds, curves, etc…I’m calling it right here right now. Boom Boom Pow!
