Looks like HTC is not letting Android 2.1 have all the new pinch and zoom fun. HTCSource has a video of an HTC Hero running Sense 2.1 and showing off (poorly) the new pinch and zoom on the homescreen. It looks a lot like Palm’s Card view, but using multitouch to activate it.
