Ice Cream Sandwich for HTC Thunderbolt Confirmed?
According to an email recieved by Android Central forum member trter10-2, HTC is working on bringing Android 4.0 to the HTC Thunderbolt early 2012. Of course you should take what anyone says with a huge grain of salt until an update is actually available for download. Also this representative might have mixed up the Thunderbolt and the previously released statment from HTC. Either way, stay tuned, we’ll keep you updated!

We continue to evaluate our products, so stay tuned, in which you can find dates and other devices that will also have Ice Cream Sandwich, but a little later. “

Windows Phone Mango Update Coming in “the next week or two”
A recent post from Eric Hautala on the Windows Phone blog pretty clearly states that mango will be here pretty shortly.
“For months, we and dozens of our partner companies have been laying the groundwork for the Windows Phone 7.5 update—and making solid progress. As a result, we now expect to start rolling it out in the next week or two. At that time, we’ll also refresh the Where’s My Phone Update? table to reflect the worldwide rollout status.”

HTC Sensation Native Screenshots, Thanks to 2.3.4
One of my huge complaints with Android is the lack of native screenshots like the iPhone. Thanks to the latest update, the HTC Sensation now has the ability to take screenshots without rooting or using the SDK. You just hold the power button at the top, than press the home button. You’ll here the camera “snap” sound and your image will be saved in your camera shots.

Droid 2.1 Update NOT coming this week.
Motorola has sunk the hopes and dreams of many Droid users by releasing a statement in their support forums saying all the 2.1 information they released was “premature”, including the update coming next week. Of course you can still get 2.1 the unofficial way
