Accell Composite Video and Stereo Audio Cable for iPod, iPhone, and iPad Review
Most people don’t give a second thought to simple accessories for their gadgets. They want their accessory to work, and if it works they are satisfied.
I was sent an Accell composite AV cable for review from Accellcables.com. They list that it is compatible with iPad, iPad 2, iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (1st gen), iPod touch (2nd gen), iPod classic, iPod nano (3rd gen), iPod nano (4th gen), iPod nano (5th gen), iPod with color display, and iPod with video. Its main purpose is to allow you to display movies on another screen, but it also includes the capability to charge and/or charge and sync your device. It is a very generous 5 feet long, and feels very well-made.
Dear Gurus, Kindle Fire vs iPad, Which Should I Buy?
Here at The Gadget Gurus, we are sorta known as experts in the world of gadgets (and love). A question that I have encountered many times via email, Twitter, etc.. has been people wondering whether to get a Kindle Fire or an iPad. So in today’s edition of “Dear Gurus” I will attempt to answer that question for you. Keep in mind I will presenting the facts of both of these devices, use cases where each fits best and an unbiased opinion. I could regurgitate the specs of each device, but that’s not what you want to read. You want to know why either one may or may not fit into your life. Which device provides the most value to you. If you’re on the fence about either of these devices, hit the details to see what this Guru suggests.
Star Wars: The Old Republic – The Series by Vic
Hey all! I decided to start a video walkthrough series of the my adventures through Star Wars: The Old Republic. I’m going to do “seasons” in terms of characters I’m leveling, focusing on one character at a time. I apologize for starting the walkthrough at level 12, but I decided it would be a fun project to do while playing this game. I’m going to take feedback and requests from commenters so you all have a chance to help level the characters I’m playing, and at the end decide what type of character we roll next and where he/she aligns on the morale spectrum.
So we’re starting off with Seishin, a Sith Warrior devoted to the Empire. He is going down the path of a Marauder, just for that sexy looking dual-wielding action. Along with his companion, Vette, Seishin’s journey is looking to be a fun, yet challenging one!
Also, make sure to subscribe to keep up with the latest adventures of Seishin!

The Art of Skyrim
As November 11th draws closer, the anticipatory conversations my friends share about Skyrim seem to grow longer. Having never played the series, I usually lose interest and walk away from their detailed discussions. Though I am bored by the depth of their detail, it is it exactly that which draws so many to the Elder Scrolls series. Click details to watch a “Making of Skyrim” trailer that not only explores the details of the game, but the passion of its developers. It is a reminder that great games are more than just great entertainment. They are art.
