HP Announces the Veer, Tiny WebOS Smartphone

The Veer is HP’s latest entry into the mid end smartphone arena. It’s as tall as a credit card, and almost as thin across. The Veer doesn’t veer much (see what I did there?) from traditional Palm design and has a slide up porttrait keyboard just like the Pre and Pre 2. This little guy comes packed with HSPA+, 8GB of storage, 512mb of RAM and the new Snapdragon 7230 running at 800mhz.

Google Voice Web App Available for iPhone and webOS

If you are a Google Voice  user and own an iPhone, you have pretty much been screwed lately. All the Google Voice apps have been pulled from the app store, andApple in their infinite wisdom, denied the official app form Google.

WebOS users at least have a pretty good app to use. Now users of both platforms can access Google Voice from their browsers with a very nice webapp. The webapp offers you all for the features the full Google Voice site does.  You can text, call, and even search through your contacts list. It is actually quite impressive for a webapp. Stay tuned for a full review pretty soon.
